As the largest food service business in Ireland a large proportion of Compass Group’s work is, of course, in the corporate environment but we also sure know how to make a party go with a bang!
Whether it be feeding and refreshing the ravenous and thirsty hoards at the Aviva Stadium for sell out sporting events or shows or the rather more intimate and personal venues we serve.
It was great to see our work in more specialist venues gain public recognition at the recent Wedding Journal Reader Awards. The awards celebrate the Northern Ireland’s top wedding venues and suppliers.
With over 20,000 votes cast Cultra Manor at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum was voted “Alternative Venue of the Year”. Cultra Manor is one of the largest mansions built by the landed gentry in Ireland and provides a beautiful backdrop for the amazing foodservice, to make for an exceptional and memorable wedding feast.
Our chefs and wedding hospitality team work to make the bride and grooms foodie dreams a reality. We work with them to create a personal, inspiring and delicious menu for their big day – using only the finest, locally- sourced ingredients.
From haute cuisine, to decadent banquets, to garden parties, barbecues and sharing extravaganzas – we play our part in making their wedding day the most memorable occasion.
We create a menu that matches the chosen style of the day, full of the food the bride, groom and their family and friends love to eat, so that every mouthful is memorable and wonderfully reflective of their personal style.
No wedding should be short of a drink or two and our barmen and mixologists create customised cocktails and refreshments that guests love.
It’s this sort of attention to fine detail you can expect to see in every Compass Group Ireland food service venue, small or large; so it’s great to see it recognised by the voting public. We were proud to be nominated with some of the finest venues in Northern Ireland for this accolade, the stiff competition only made us even prouder to come away with the award at the end of the evening.
Huge congratulations to Catherine Craythorne and her team and the entire crew at Cultra Manor
