The Law Society
The Law Society was designed by Thomas Ivory and built in 1671 as the Kings Hospital or Blue Coat Hospital.
The building was never finished to Ivory's design due to a shortage of funds - the tower was not complete! The Law Society moved to Blackhall Place in 1978 and has operated successfully as a club ever since. It boasts a number of function suites and, as well as a large outside grounds and sports facilities. The main room known as the Presidents Hall can catering for up to 200 as a fine dining venue and hold conferences for up to 350 delegates. The venue has successfully hosted weddings, conferences and private parties.
